Buckeye Trail 50k

DATE: Saturday, July 17, 2010 at 7:00 a.m. - 10 hour limit

START and FINISH:

Due to construction at Oak Grove in the Brecksville Metro Park, we will be moving the start/finish of the 2010 Buckeye Trail 50K. Participants will park at the Station Road Bridge Parking Lot and the start/finish will be approximately a 1 mile west of Riverview Rd. This will add a minimal amount of distance An updated course map will be posted sometime in late May or early June. We will be running the first section of the new course on Sunday, June 6th (Read Below)

BT50K Training Run Schedule
Listed below are the scheduled training runs for the BT50K. Please note that distance can always be added to these group runs

• Sunday, June 6th – Station Rd. Bridge Parking Lot 7:00am – 14 Miles
• Sunday, June 13th – Jaite Wayside (Intersection of Highland Rd. & Riverview Rd.) 7:00am – 11 Miles
• Sunday, June 20th – Boston Store 7:00am – 8+ Miles
• Sunday, June 27th – Station Rd. Bridge Parking Lot 7:00am – 25K (Runners will Carpool & Info will be posted at VR Message Board and FB Page)
• Sunday, July 4th – Station Rd. Bridge Parking Lot 7:00am – 23 Miles

PACKET PICK-UP:

• Friday, July 16, 2010 from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Vertical Runner.

Race Vulunteer Requirements:

Before a runner may participate in 2010 BT50K, he or she must have completed 3 hours of volunteer service at the 2009 BT50K or in support of another event, local park, and/or trail system. This service must be completed in the 12 months preceding the race. Click here to downlaod PDF
